LeMans
Did you know that Lemans Racing is named after the city Lemans, which is located in France at Circuit de la Sarthe. The first race was held in 1923 to showcase the reliability and durability of cars while pushing the boundaries of automotive engineering.
The main event is the 24 hours of Le Mans, but there are other competitions held during the year, like the Le Mans Classic and the European Le Mans Series.

British Touring Car Championship
British Touring Car Championship, or BTCC, was founded in 1958. It is held at different UK circuits, like Silverstone, Brands Hatch, and Thruxton. The grid consists of manufacturers like BMW, Honda, Ford, and Toyota. The cars have to follow strict regulation rules; for example, all cars are 350+bhp 2-liter turbo-charged hybrid engines.
With its unique race format featuring multiple rounds on a race day and a strong emphasis on close-quarters racing, the BTCC consistently delivers excitement, drama, and intense competition, making it a beloved fixture in the world of motorsport.

Dakar Rally
The Dakar Rally originated in 1978 from Paris to Dakar, Senegal. It is considered one of the most grueling and challenging racing series. The race now held mostly in Saudi Arabia or South America takes competitors through extreme terrains, including deserts, dunes, and mountains. The race consists of Motorcyclists, cars, and truckers navigating through ever-changing terrain. The race itself is over the course of 2 weeks, spanning around 5000 to 6000 KM or approximately about 3100 to 3700 Miles.

Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters (DTM)
The Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, or DTM, needs to be on top of all auto enthusiasts’ lists. It brings manufacturers Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Mercedes Benz, and Porche together for some of the closest wheel-to-wheel racing. The racing happens at tracks across Europe. The cars run 2.0-liter inline-4 turbocharged engines restricted to 580HP + 60HP push-to-pass. Although the bodies are based on road cars, the chassis is purpose-built for racing.

Formula 1
Formula 1, also known as F1, is known as the pinnacle of motorsport racing. The series dates back to the early 20th century, but the official world championship began in 1950. Manufacturers like Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren, and Red Bull race on circuits around the world in what is most likely the most watched motorsport around the world. Engines are based on a 1.6-litre hybrid V6, making around 1000HP.

Formula E is considered the top tier for electric automotive racing. Estabilished in 2014, the championship features 18 races through city centers around the globe, and includes manufacturers like Nissan, Maserati, Mahindra, Jaguar.

IndyCar Series
IndyCar racing, born out of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, is an open-wheel racing series across North America. The tracks include oval tracks, road courses, and street circuits with Indianapolis 500 being one of the main highlights. the open-wheel chassis are powered by a 2.4-liter, twin-turbocharged v-6 hybrid powertrain good for 800 to 900HP, and propels these cars to 230MPH.

Nascar
The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, better known as NASCAR, was formed in 1948. The story goes that NASCAR has its roots in the South of the United States during Prohibition era when moonshine runners would modify their cars to evade law enforcement. Manufacturers include Ford, Chevrolet, and Toyota. The chassis is race designed, and the engine is 5.86-liter pushrod V8 motors making about 670HP

Super GT
The Super GT series, established in 1993, is the premier Japanese motorsport series, held only in circuits around Japan. The series consists of 2 classes: Gt500 and GT300. GT500 are more powerful and technologically advanced race cars, while GT300 are slightly slower including GT3-spec machines and modified production cars. Manufacturers include Nissan, Honda, Toyota, Mercedes Benz, BMW, Audi, and Lexus. GT500 cars all run 2-liter turbocharged engines, and GT300 run different spec engines.

V8 Supercars
Supercars Championship, formerly known as V8 Supercars, is Australia’s premier touring car racing series. The series was established in 1997 and is powered by V8 engines. The circuit includes street circuits and road courses, with the most famous race being the Bathurst 1000. Manufacturers include Ford, and Chevrolet.

World Rally Championship (WRC)
World Rally Championship or WRC for short was estabilished in 1973. The series takes drivers and co-drivers around the world on varying landscapes, including gravel, tarmac, snow, and rough terrain. Some of the famous events are Rally Finland, Rally Monte Carlo, and Rally Sweden. Manufacturers include Ford, Hyundai, and Toyota. The cars shell is based on road going cars, but the chassis is race spec and the engine is 1.6-liter plug-in hybrid with over 500HP combined output.
